This Mission Commercial Plaza is a 4,750 sq ft development designed to accommodate flexible small-scale commercial use across six tenant spaces. The project prioritized efficiency, adaptability, and streamlined construction.

KSI Steel was responsible for the full structural scope, working closely with the structural engineer and builder to deliver a Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) framing system aligned with project requirements. Proximity to the site allowed for increased involvement during construction, including site visits to support coordination and execution.

Key Project Highlights:

• Flexible Tenant Layout, although designed for six commercial units, only two interior partition walls were initially included, allowing future tenants the flexibility to adapt or reconfigure their spaces as needed.

• Independent Roof Structure, the roof system was engineered to span without relying on interior load-bearing walls, enabling an open and adaptable floor plan.

• Efficient Project Delivery, close collaboration with the builder and on-site involvement contributed to a streamlined process and accelerated construction timeline.

• Adaptive Coordination, mid-project façade revisions were efficiently incorporated into the 3D model, allowing for quick adjustments without disrupting progress.
