Project description
This Mission Residence is a 1,500 sq ft, two-story starter home developed as part of a three-home residential series in Mission, Texas. Designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind, the project reflects a straightforward approach to modern residential construction.
KSI Steel led the project from concept to completion, overseeing architectural design, Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) structural development, and on-site erection. As one of the company’s early CFS projects, it played a key role in establishing internal workflows and construction capabilities.
Key Project Highlights:
-
Full Project Delivery, KSI managed the entire process, from initial design through structural installation, ensuring continuity and execution across all phases.
-
CFS Structural System, the residence was built using Cold-Formed Steel framing, providing a durable, non-combustible alternative to traditional wood construction.
-
Foundation Project Experience. As part of a three-home rollout, this project contributed to KSI’s early experience in applying CFS systems to residential development.
