Project description
This New Orleans Residence is a 3,000 sq ft, two-story home designed with a focus on efficiency and constructability. The project followed a streamlined process, allowing for a smooth transition from design to execution.
KSI Steel was responsible for the full structural scope, working closely with the structural engineer and builder to deliver a precise Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) framing system aligned with the approved architectural and engineering plans.
Key Project Highlights:
-
Coordinated Delivery, early alignment between the architect, structural engineer, and builder enabled an efficient and straightforward execution process.
-
CFS Structural System, the residence was constructed using Cold-Formed Steel framing, ensuring durability and consistency throughout the structure.
-
Pier & Beam Foundation, the use of a pier and beam system provided a cost-effective alternative to a traditional slab, offering greater dimensional control and reducing reliance on concrete tolerances.
